Bush Guru has never been one for saying something in many words when few will suffice. However while a life of experience in the Bush has taught him valuable lessons regarding running in the right direction and just how crazy honeybadgers can get, this hasn’t really gone too far to prepare him for his latest challenge; blogging.

Bush Guru has been around a bit and with many tales of adventure under his belt and a beard full of anecdotes it is with a certain amount of trepidation that he faces this challenge. Bush Guru came to the information technology negotiating table quite late and finds certain of these things unsettling. Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, DVDs, Blackberry (non edible), ipods (do elephants prefer these to Acacia pods?) etc. leave Bush Guru with the opinion that some things are best left alone.

Just the other day, he inherited an email address and has had all mannner of strange messages sent to him, from emails stating that  they can make him bigger (Bush Guru is very happy about his height – but what would they use – a rack?) to numerous messages from young ladies. Bush Guru didn’t know he was famous in Russia and Thailand. They seemed very friendly though.

Bush Guru has been slightly suspicious of technology and it’s effects since watching a  movie on the television about an Australian crocodile fellow who made a cow lie down by waving his hand at it. Bush Guru was fascinated by this and wondered if the same could be done with buffalo. The answer is most certainly no, as Bush Guru found out.

Like elephant cows with calves, all that leads BG to believe that some things are best left to lie. However waxing lyrical once a week has been requested of Bush Guru and even in the face of an enraged buffalo who has just accidentally been poked in the eye, Bush Guru is ready for the challenge…

Bush Guru will be letting the world know of his random musings once a week (running about the bush permitting) and would be happy to answer any questions on the bush or more elemental queries, like world politics or example.
