The channel is now in full flow and with the heat last week Bush Guru was wondering if taking a dip in the channel would be a worthwhile idea. Maybe not. Most stretches of water in Africa will likely contain something that might give you a surprise, and not of the “new i-pod for Xmas” type of surprise. More the big spiky teeth look at the bones (with all due respect to Monty Python) type of shocker. However, a river can always be a fantastic source of life, so here are some of the most recent photos of the channel.
